When do you meet?

We meet every Thursday at 7:30 unless stated differently

Where do you meet?

Often, if it is a visit, we will all meet up in Co-op Car Park, in plenty of time to get to our destination for the day

How much does it cost?

Membership costs £40 a year, new members and associates £25. This covers insurance and the day to day running of the club. Additional costs can happen for instance if the club goes bowling.

That sounds cool, but I don't farm

One of the most popular misconceptions about Young Farmers is that you need to be a farmer. Not at all. Whilst some of our members farm, the majority have other jobs, such as roofing, engineering, veterinary nurses, office staff and students
 
I want to travel

Young Farmers offers many opportunities to travel the world as part of exchanges. Some of our members have been to New Zealand, Africa and Australia.

I want to act

There are opportunities to star in club cabaret and pantomime acts. We've recently been successful to have performed at the Hall for Cornwall and some of our members have performed at the world famous Winter Gardens in Blackpool.

I want to raise money

Callington Young Farmers like to put on fundraising events. Whether its bike rides, discos, selling dung or racing pigs, we've raised in excess of £25,000 for charity over the past 10 years, buying guide dogs, a horse for the disabled, and a trailer for the local St John's Ambulance
